Year 11 students at Hazel Grove High School have had great success with 50% of students achieving 5+ in English and Maths, and 73% of students achieving grade 4+ in English and Maths. Furthermore, around a fifth of students achieved the top grades 7-9.
Across all subject areas there were some brilliant outcomes with the average grade being around the strong pass mark of a grade 5. Teachers are extremely proud of the effort and character shown by all students which have enabled them to get the grades they deserve. Amongst the many successes, were some superb sets of individual results. Congratulations to Myles, Christopher and Isabelle, who achieved all grade 9s and 8s and well done to Thomas, Milly and Summer, who achieved a combination of grades 9 to 7.
Year 9 students have also been celebrating today as they collected their Modern Foreign Languages GCSE results in French, German and Spanish. An incredible 74% of students achieved a strong pass at Grade 5+ and 86% achieved a pass at grade 4+. Over a third of students achieved grades 7-9 and incredibly, 33 students achieved the top grade of a 9!
