Hazel Grove Sixth Form are proud to release their inaugural set of external exam results, achieved in the newly-opened Academic Sixth Form centre.

Year 12 mathematics students have secured an incredible set of results achieving 94% Grade A-B (71% Grade A) in Further Mathematics and 80% Grade A-B (47% Grade A) in Core Mathematics. These remarkable results are testament to the hard work and resilience of the students and the support that they have received from their teachers and tutors.

Director of Sixth Form, Jo Lambert, said:

“I know that our inaugural class of 2025 have set the bar high for themselves with this stellar performance; one they will no doubt replicate across all subjects next year as they complete their A Level studies.

“All our students have shown excellent dedication to their academic work this year and I want to say how proud I am of every single one of them and congratulate them on their hard work so far.

“These results are only a snapshot of the levels of achievement and dedication that we see day in, day out in all areas of their Sixth Form life both within and beyond their studies. We cannot wait to support them through the next exciting stage towards University and Post 18 plans and their Life After Laurus.”

Head of School, Martin Stewart added:

“We know what exceptional young people our students are, so we had really high expectations for our first cohort in our fantastic new sixth form, but these results are absolutely superb, and a credit to all the hard work they have put in. We are so proud of them, and I have every faith that they will continue into Year 13 with the same level of effort and application. Huge well done to our Year 12 students on their outstanding results and thanks to our dedicated maths department and wider sixth form support team.”
