We are looking forward to welcoming you back to school in September!
Here are our returning to school arrangements:

Year 7 – 8.30am to 12.05pm. Please enter via the main gates where you will be directed to meet your form tutors and Head of Year. Full school uniform to be worn. Please bring a drink, students will have use of the canteen facilities.
Thursday 3rd September:
Years 7-13 – All years in school for 8.45am as usual in full school uniform (main school) / business dress (sixth form). Please go directly to your form room. If you have a new form tutor or are not sure of your room, there are signs on the doors and staff will be on hand to assist.
School Canteen Facilities (Main School)
The school canteen will be open for use in separate year group bubbles. In order for us to be able to manage this:
Years 9, 10 and 11 will have use of the canteen facilities before school.
Initially, only Years 7, 8 and 11 will have use of the canteen facilities at break time, therefore, students in Year 9 and 10 may wish to bring snacks at break times.
Lunch times: Years 7-11 will be able to use the canteen facilities in their separate year group bubbles.
Parents can load money onto ParentPay accounts in advance. On the first day back the students will be issued with an individual contactless card to be used in canteens to replace fingerprint biometric operation. See the canteen page for more information.
PE will take place in the curriculum as usual although there will be some changes to routines and activities to minimise any risk, therefore, PE kit will be required as usual on the days that PE is timetabled.
Please find the attached updated guidance with regards to the return to school next week. As we are sure you are aware, the government is now advising that in areas of national government intervention, including Greater Manchester, face coverings should be worn on corridors and in communal areas within schools. Students should bring their own face coverings for this purpose. Face coverings will be removed during lessons. We ask you to ensure that this is close fitting and, where possible, a plain colour. It is essential that face coverings are used correctly. As detailed within the latest guidelines https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/face-coverings-in-education/face-coverings-in-education
“Safe wearing of face coverings requires cleaning of hands before and after touching – including to remove or put them on – and the safe storage of them in individual, sealable plastic bags between use. Where a face covering becomes damp it should not be worn and the face covering should be replaced carefully.”
We will continue to monitor the rapidly changing guidelines and review this regularly, updating you on any changes as necessary. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
We look forward to seeing all our students next week.
